Some decisions
Well, the game wasnt...interesting (I think thats the right word). It's certainly fun enough, but when you play the same layout for each round it gets a bit *samey*.
Since Im planning to do the level layout scripting as my next task Im going to put in different level layouts for each stage. This should hopefully make levels longer and more varied/interesting.
Rolo/Pasty/Markus did some new gfx for the stage wording which appears before each stage starts which looks very cool indeed. I spent most of my time last night trying to sort out the level 2 music, the first 2 stages are fine but Im just not happy with stage 3, Ive even got the victory music sorted though!
So the list of jobs before the alpha release is now:
- GUI overhaul
- Scripting of level stages
- Level 2 music to be finished
